Default 100 rear wheel horsepower for $5,000

I wanted to test the waters and see where you guys are as far as being interested in a true bolt on Turbo kit. We are the only company offering a forced induction kit for the Ram Hemi, our base kits provide 5 pounds of boost for at least a 100 horsepower increase at the rear wheels.
The 300C/Magnum kit would cost $4995 and would include everything necessary, even the tuning for the motor and tranny. You would drop your quarter mile times by a full second.

We were tentatively planning on waiting until the 300C coupe and the Charger were out to develop a kit but if you 300C owners show enough of an interest we could get the kit out earlier.

We are a legit company that is selling about 40 kits a month right now. Ford is talking about doing an OE deal with us for the 05 Mustang and GM loved our kit so much that they awarded us the Best New Performance Product Award at SEMA.

If you are interested go to our website and let us know.

Will you be removing the MDS programming from the 300/magnum hemi's, and what I would guess is going to be the future norm for the hemi engines in most/all applications with your custom tuning?

This is odd because I have been talking with this company regarding this very kit and their response was that they have no plans for the LX cars and that the only way would be to use the universal kit.

Anyway...I am very interested in this. I am also pretty concerned about the computer modifications that I assume would be nessesary.

I looked at their website and only saw information regarding the Hemi Ram Truck, NOT the LX.

I guess us car owners are out of luck.

Prove that you cracked the ECU, and have a working production model and I'll listen.

Until then, it's all rumour and intrigue.

We have only developed teh kits for the Hemi trucks but we would also like to do a "LX" kit if the market looks good. The computer tuning on the truck hasn't been an issue because we haven't had to touch the computer. We have gone in and increased the line pressure for the tranny but thats about it. The "tuning" on the motor has been old school but it works great. We're getting excellent fuel/air ratios with great performance.

If this system works like we say it does would you be interested in an additional 100 rear wheel horsepower for about $5K? I'm not asking you to buy anything but if this works as well for your car as it does for the Hemi trucks would you be interested?

100rwhp sounds good for 5K, but the concern I think alot of us have is the tuning, the hemi truck engines don't have the MDS system running, is the assumption that with more air pressure moving across the MAP that the engine won't go into 4 cylinder mode with the turbo pumping away and cause problems, or will the MDS system be "removed" with your tuning? I think just about anybody with a desire to bump up performance would like a turbo kit producing 100rwhp...I don't even have my car yet, and hoping a full headers back dynatech to magnaflow system with a K&N like CAI intake and hypertech reprogramming will produce 50rwhp and 80 rwtq...I'm guessing to a tune of $2500....why not double the power for twice the cost? I'm game for a turbo if you can dispell the concerns already presented here.

Without remapping the fuel delivery how do you keep the motor from leaning out and exploding a piston on heavy acceleration?

Or does the ECU compensate for the pressure increase in the manifold and adjust fuel accordingly? Seems to me if I programmed that ECU I'd make it throw a code and stop if it fuelled more than an expected max for a certain RPM.

I dunno - the whole thing seems a bit fishy without a working prototype car and the accompanying dyno sheet.

They mave have a "piggy back" set up in mind. That's what I have on my viper, granted it isn't OBII and doesn't have MDS.

Brady B,
Yes, I would be interested. I have a cousin that lives in Corona that works with a guy that has done the Blower Modifications to the Hemi Trucks. Breaks the tires loose going 80 MPH down the Freeway when you step on it! He said that they should have Exhaust, Chip and Blower Modifications for the Magnum Hemi by March or April of this year. Exhaust should only be about $600.00 or so and about $3,500.00 for the Blower System. Let me know more information...
