What's with all the question marks?? ??? ?? ? I didn't type it that way!

Anyway, I got the ticket in the mail and it's about $210. Not too bad. I'll probably go to court anyway and use Bob's "I guess I was speeding, but didn't realize" tactic.

We'll see what happens.

 

I have my court appearance Thursday.
Just gonna say "Hey, I just got on the freeway, got up to speed, and went with traffic. I didn't even pass anybody and was pulled over. I only drove about a 1 ½ from start to stop.”
I’ll see what happens.

 

dont sweat it, the cop probably wont even show up... I had a ticket for 500bucks for doing 98.7 on my motorcycle in a 55 & the cop didnt even bother showing up. (lucky for him)

Did you go to court and plead “not guilty” and get another court date assigned?

I don’t really want to miss time at work on two separate days for a $200 ticket.

 

Well I had my appearance and what a waste of time that was. Should’ve just sent in the fees/ penalties and been done with it.
In a nutshell the judge said �I don’t care if you were going with the flow of traffic. I could have easily gone as fast as you were going in my F150, so I don’t doubt that you were, …especially in the car you were driving. No reduction of fees.’[:'(]

That Judge sounds like a "Magnumist" Can't we all just get along?

 

He mentioned his F150 probably a dozen times during the period I was in the courtroom. Definitely a truck guy.
