Default Smoked headlight lenses

I know I set myself up on this one so, no jokes!

What's the deal with the smoked lenses on some Magnums and not others? I don't believe it's an option or accessory.

Saw smoked headlight lenses on an SXT at a local dealer...any thoughts?

They are not "smoked" the housing is just black plastic...they are not chromed like on the RT. It distinguishes the RT from the others as does the aluminum grills slits. SMoked lens are illegal in most states. goto www.GTS.com for smokes lenses (might not be the right URL)

I noticed the same thing and started looking at the Magnums closer. I found out the SXT and SE have a dark gray back ground on head lights. RT's has a bright silver back ground. When I see an orginal Magnum on road I can tell them apart at a distance RT's sides have bright polishes wheels/brite body moldings and the Hemi badges, in front bright silver back ground for headlights/ fog lights/brite strips in grill/in the rear dual brite exhaust tips
