Default Blue Tooth

Has anyone had any luck with the Blue Tooth feature. I finally got a Blue tooth phone, followed the directions in the manual to find the phone (which worked) but when I go to use the phone it says "phone not found" Has anyone worked with this yet?

I use Verizon and a Motorola V710... by default the bluetooth transmitter/reciever is turned off... for UCONNECT to work correctly you have to go into the settings and turn the bluetooth feature on all the time, drains the battery a bit, but not too bad, should have no problems if you charge every night. Before I found this setting, I would have to manually go to the bluetooth on or I would get the same error.

Mine has been working now for about 2 weeks, and I really like the feature.

Hope this helps!

I had my v600 before I got the Magnum....so I set it up as soon as I left the lot. I am in the habit of
turning on the bluetooth of my phone as soon as I get in the car. It is an awesome feature, happy to
have it.

Got it going - kind of. I have not been able to dial with voice commands but the car does recogize the phone when I dial the number through the phone and use the stereo as the head set. I also recognizes an incoming call. Thanks for your help.

Check to see if phone's Bluetooth is set up in handsfree mode as apposed to headset mode. The U-Connect will only work if the phone is in handsfree profile.
