i want to get a remote start whats the best bet?
i want to get a remote start for my magnum, called best buy and the starter and security system is $380 and called and extra parts would be $300 is it worth it? and what parts would i need to get to bypass everything if i didnt want to pay extra $300 anybody know?
best bet is to get a dealer remote start. I know they may be a little pricey, but the amount of issues i've seen with aftermarket remote starts ... its not worth a headache. I had to look at one for a caliber today that was installed at best buy. thier option is going to be remove it. (key fab's and the security does not cooperate as well as it should).
You want the Mopar. We have a customer having big probs with their aftermaket as we speak. Guess what, no warranty on your system, sorry, go back to the one who put it in for you.Install the mopar for the extra bucks, and get the coverage.

You can find the magnum oem start kits on ebay. Just make sure its oem and pay your local dealer to install it. Yeah the remote kits from a installer don't work my mom had one or her minivan worked for 2 months then quit installer replaced the antenna worked for another 2 months my folks just gave up. I want one for my mag but i have not got around to it.
