Default radio swap

I have an '06 R/T AWD. I have the 6-disc GPS satellite radio with the rear entertainment system. It was all optional equipment, but stock Dodge stuff during the '06 run. My question is, do you think I would be able to have the dealer pull out the guts of what I have (leave the satellite receiver and the rear seat DVD stuff) and put in one of the infoGig systems from the '08 cars (with improved GPS, aux input and rear seat Sirius TV)? Am I crazy to ask? Should I just forget it and pick up an Avic Z? Just wondering.

Most likely WILL NOT work. The 'communication speeds' are different and new in '08. There are some mods being done to possibly get MyGiG to work, but so far, nothing.
