No. Why would want to, it does nothing thgat affects performance. It only helps MPG, you never even know when it is MDS mode.

With the Borla exhaust, you can tell when it goes to the four banger mode. It is a very subtle exhaust note change.

As I have stated elsewhere on this forum, it would be cool to have a dash light to indicate if it is in 4 / 8 mode. Also an override switch would be nice, for mountain driving or hauling a trailer.

Bob, for mountain driving or hauling it wil not go into MSD mode if it doesn't feel it can be done without the driver noticing a difference.

Guys, it really isn't anything that hurts performance in any way. Even if you could turn it off you would never know any difference.

Simply change the oil to 10W40, worked on mine, disabled the MDS, dealer put in the wrong oil. Back to 5W20 the next day, and MDS is back!!!

So, whenever you hear the tone change, it's the sound of more money staying in your pocket!!

My '67 Ram Air GTO got 9-10 mpg!! (400", 3sp AT, 4.33 axle!!)

Ain't technology great!!
