How cool is it to have people swivelling around to look at your ride as you drive down the street? And my red RT is still bone stock!

One guy actually pulled up beside me and rolled down his window like in the commercial..."Dude, what's in that thing?"

Ummm... my electric drill, a Sawzall, a bag o' tools...[sm=smiley20.gif]

Got a nice double-take yesterday from a lady in a black 300C - I slowed to dead even, then moved up so she could see the whole car - then she was alongside again in an instant. We nod, and she roasts it to pass the tractor trailer we caught and that I'm stuck behind. Gone in a flash...

Saw one black SXT with a roofrack zip by today as I was sitting in line on Buford Dam Road after a trip to Homer's Depot.

"What'cha got in that thing?"
"35 standard cement blocks, 480 lbs of mortar-n-cement and room for more.."

...I took porky-the-van - cause there isn't ever going to be enough 'new' worn off to make me haul sackrete and cement blocks in the magnum. It -would- haul a decent load though.

Kinda nice having a covered pickup truck - I don't have to unload it.

You know, I really don't see any Magnums, or 300's for that matter, here in WNY!? Could it be that they put them away for the winter?

Heading to Warner-Robbins the other day was cool, an easy half-dozen neck-snaps as folks watched the car.

As one who used to live in CNY (Syracuse/Oswego) for many years, I could see keeping my RT for nice days and driving a beater during the winter, but now that I live in Georgia, I don't have to make that decision anymore!

My sympathies!

Mike
