Default Heated seats in the RT...

Are the heated seats warm only on your "bottom" and hamstring area..or..does the seat ALSO warm up for the small of your back like they do in the MB E430. Just curious.

I believe they warm the small of your back as well. I could be wrong, but thats as far as I remember from driving one. Unless the bottom was just so hot that it was burning my back!

It heats both bottom and back, my wife uses the heated seats, even here in Florida.

I love the Heated seats, even here in Texas.
It's a two stage heater. The high setting will burn your [sm=smiley35.gif] in about 20 seconds. [sm=badbadbad.gif]
The low setting is fine after you're warmed up.[sm=smiley20.gif]

My wife leaves her setting on high, never turns it down. She has a bad back and the heat feels good. When she comes out of the tub (bath) she looks as red as a lobster. Us guys could not do that (hot water).

On the RT>>>the option is Convenience Group II>>>$925. You get dual zone automatic tempture controls/heated front seats/passanger side power seat/power adjustable pedals. If you are going this far go ahead and get the electronice convenience group>>>$630. you get in-cluster reconfigurable display/compass/trip computer/steering wheel-mounted audio controls/garage door opener. Also get Sirus satelite radio with one year sub >>>$195. >>>This make a nice RW drive Magnum for around $32,245. list price. You should get one ready to drive home equipped like this for $31,000 including tax.

In other words you can get a magnum in about three price ranges>>>>>$22,500>>>>$ 32,250>>>>$40.000>>>

The only problem I have with the heated seats.....it feels so good, I don't want to
get out of the car and back into the cold....
