Default Pick up the magnum tomorrow!!!!

Can't friggin' wait!!! They are putting the undercoating on tomorrow, I'll pick it up tomorrow night after work. The eibach springs, K&N CAI, and Magnaflow exhaust are already sitting in the garage waiting, I think I'll wait until the check for my trade-in clears, order my rims and tires, and in I would guess 2 weeks from now.....the car will be breathing and farting better, lower and looking sharp. Man....I just can't wait!

Only thing that scares me so far is the stuff I've been reading about the tranny leaks.....this worry's me a little, anybody here have personal experience with this?

Thats one gorgeous BMW. Black too. But your Magnum is gonna make you forget alllll about it, AND FAST! Definitely take some before and after pictures. That's gonna look SICK!!! Did you get a black Magnum too? Thats my all time favorite color for them, its so sparkley, just like the Overland Jeep Grand Cherokee's Black is. Mmm Gorgeous! I wish I could have a Magnum!

Actually, I went 180' on the color and went with cool vanilla. I too love the blackness at night, but to keep it clean and swirly free.....too much work for me nowadays.

I will definitely take before and after shots of the mods, I'll be weighing everything going on the car and coming out as well. Of course new 20" rims are going to affect acceleration, but I like a car that looks good as well.

The 323 wasn't a slouch, I had enough mods to keep the N/A 2.5L pulling 15.3 in the 1/4 mile down at MD International Raceway. I think the stereo system in the trunk was holding me back from anything lower. But I've seen RT owners claim a 13.9-14.4 1/4 time on another forum....so I know the hemi power is going to give me a grin.

Congrats! Nice modifications planned - I'm looking forward to hearing about them. I'm glad you're planning to chronical your customization work with pictures (it'll make it easier for the rest of us to make mods). How much time do you think you'll shave off the 1/4 mile. We need some before and after time trials.

K-RICED!!! Here we go....I can feel the same "who gives a ****, we got your money" attitude I experienced with BMW yesterday at the Dodge dealer. I guess I'm over reacting, but the night before last, they claimed the u-connect and DVD Nav was already installed and ready to go, all they had to do was do the undercoating that ups my body/chassis warranty from ever rusting for the life of the vehicle (or I wouldn't have paid the $299, I would of bought a can or two at autozone and sprayed the fender wells myself for $10)........so that was schedualed for yesterday, that's why I thought I would be picking it up yesterday after work. WRONG. I arrive after picking up my check for the BMW up at the VW dealer up the street, and guess what, they did do the undercoating, the U-connect and DVD Nav is indeed installed...yet somehow, they forgot to mention that somebody forgot to get the new console faceplate that goes with the DVD Nav. Man I was pissed off about the "simple" forgotten part, it would have been nice if the salesperson would of called me at work and mentioned "hey, we don't have this part, you don't want to waste your time coming by here today, we'll have the part in tomorrow and you can pick up the car then". Again, this is minor minor stuff, but if they know about it, call the damn customer and let them know. I hope this isn't a realistic taste of things to come, honestly, I love BMW, but I got away from them for 2 reasons, cost of repair, and total lack of customer satisfaction when serviced. I had it better than most, I know how to service my own simple stuff, and I come from a motorhead family so building up the chevy/ford/dodge engines of old when they were carb or simple fuel injection...I can rebuild those as well, but the technology that BMW is putting in their engines now is rediculously hard to do much with aftermarket, and here I go buying a new vehicle that is probably just as much a pain in the *** as BMW, with the MDS and ESP programming. And honestly, with the baby now here, for the next few years I don't see myself in the garage as much anymore since I'll be doing my part to take care of the boy. I just want to have some damn decent service when I do bring the car in for service/repair.

Sorry for the rant, I just want my car damnit. [sm=icon_blah.gif]
