Default Removing stock RT badge

I recently purchased a 2005 Magnum RT. Unlike the newer models, the 2005's don't have the classic R/T badge, but just have the boring chrome "RT"letters. I know I can get an NOS classic badge, but don't know how to remove the old one without damaging the paint. Any suggestions?

Search the forum for particulars, but heat and a fishing line work well.

Thanks for the tips. I realized I should search the forum right after I posted this.[sm=oopssign.gif]

A small plastic razor knife , and some care, will get the emblem off...then an eraser wheel on a drill will remove the glue.

The fishing line and "goo off" will work just as well though.

A hair dryer to soften it up, some fish line to get it loose then Goo Gone, WD40 or rubbing alcohol to clean up the glue...then some wax. Works every time.

CTFrank seems to kno about the dryer.. ive seen the tool in mech shops that do that.. hot blower... heats up the emblems or letters and peals them right off.... good one! the fishing line will work to but heating it up first will allow it to be removed with less force-

Hmmm,
I think it's funny that people don't like the only Dodge RT Badge not to be labeled R/T. It's a Classic... And it goes just as quick as the R/T Badged cars. Plus I got Shocks to hold my hood up, not a Stick...
