Although the Charger at first was a bit of a disappointment to me, I've got to be honest, it is growing on me. I'll be looking into it when they begin hitting the dealers lots. My other vehicle is a Ford Lightning so I dig the extra ponies under the hood! YUM!

I'm afraid I'm unimpressed, body-wise of course. The Viper engine is always a sight to see.
So the Sedan gets a kick-up in the flank, a hood/grille profile that looks like an old Bonneville and a deck that's like an old 300C.
And the wagon? A grille and front bumper and???
If it were up to me I'd put a SuperBird/Daytona style spoiler on both - but that's just me.

Where is the Viper engine? There are no plans of ever putting a Viper powertrain into a LX platform.

RE: Magnum SRT8 Photos
If they actually have the abuility (which I doubt) to edit the programming, that alone is worth 50 HP. A knowledgable machinist couild easily get another 20-30 out of the intake and T/B.
It is pretty uncommon to NOT get 100+ HP out of the GM LSX engine series with simple bolt-ons and programming.
That said, I didn't think anyone had DCX edit software available yet.

I've been part of the LSX scene for 5 years now, and there's no way you're getting that much HP out of a stock LS1/6 without tapping into the motor. Besides, dyno numbers are only a good tuning aid, there's too many variables when comparing numbers from two different dynos. What really matters is what you run at the track. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Mike, I think you may want to spend some time at HPTuners.com. It is very easy for a "good" tuner to get that kind of power. I have several associates with over 500HP at the wheels (that's near the 600HP mark) with no internal work except for a cam. Everything else is bolt-ons and tuning. No blower, no turbo, no NOS. Tuning can unleash tremendous HP if you know what you are doing.
You may out of touch a little with the LSX scene, we are getting over 1000RWHP with a supercharger, and 600-700RWHP with just cams and heads.
Tuning can make a big difference, remember that the factory does not set the tune for max performance, it is for emissions, fuel economy and all around drivability.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement!!
I did not dyno this Stage II engine! I don't know exactly how much power it has! The builder explained briefly what was done, that it was a big improvement over OEM, that most was Mopar, that it added up to about 400 HP, and that it would not void the warranty. I liked what he did. It's a package deal! When its delivered, I will be in a better position to judge the results, but so far I think it will be a very nice ride.
I don't race anymore. I just want something that's comfy, quick, safe, practical, sounds good, and is unusual enough to turn heads! That's what I got when I bought my first new car, a white 1964 GTO. 41 years later I hope to have that thrill again!! We have a sweet Acura CL Type S, but it is mostly my wife's car, and though luxurious and quite fast, is a little too conservative (small "c") for me. Wish me luck!!
PS: I just saw a Post in which the guy claims that just a K&N Filter is good for about 13 HP. My engine also has a K&N Filter, plus the custom intake, the Ported and Polished TB and Plenum, and the huge CatBack exhaust! Maybe 400 isn't too optimistic after all!!??!!
