Hi,

I JUST purchased a 2007 Dodge Magnum SXT and I'm trying to figure out the headlights. They turn on when I unlock the car, and sometimes stay on even after I lock it. I have to open the car and turn the lights off.

How can I deactivate this ? I don't mind the headlight flash when locking, but I don't want the lights on.

It's probably a dumb question with a simple answer !

 

They will go out soon , if you just leave the veh. alone.

I`m sure there`s a way to change the settings , but I don`t know how. I`d check the owners manual , or call the dealer.

 

You should be able to go to your preferences in the menu. There you are given the options to open one door or all of them at the same time. Set the lights to flash, stay on for a certain period of time or not at all.

I wish I had my owner's manual to give you more specific information, but my Magnum is in the body shop after catching a rock thrown by a gravel truck traveling the opposite direction.

What menu ? I don't have GPS or any kind of screen other then the odometer and the single CD radio display.
