Default Cheap plasitc trim fading/turning white

Again, chrysler used cheap material for this overpriced car. Anyone else out there have faded plastic trim? There are 2 strips that are on each side of the windshield. Mine are gray already /faded from the sun. Shouldn't that be covered on the bumper to bumper 3yr warranty? It's pathetic that they charge so much money for a cheaply made car. The car has 15k on it and only been titlled for 2 years.

right now car is under the 3 yr warranty...going to make mopar replace them. just sad that on a car that costs this much that they couldn't use better material. just noticed that the car door panel has a nice crack in it...cheap cheap cheap. how sad. mechanically it's doing alright it's just annoying that they cut costs on the plastic.

maybe i was wrong to think that a car that costs $36k or more would have a little quality built in it...

youshould have spent$37k to get the good plastic.

personally, i think it is the environment and abuse, not cheap material.

thanks everyone..i will stop my bitching now about the poor manufacturing of the magnums. i do love the car, just a bummed with the little things having problems.

at least my 73 Charger was built like a s*** brick house. Still runs today...35 years later.. original 400 cid motor/tranny and interrior all good. starts on the first crank.

have a 76 lincoln too. 460 cid, engine is as tight as a drum...no leaks and the quality of the build is unbelievably awesome.
