Default Magnum R/T AWD ride height

Is the stock ride height different on the R/T AWD than it is for the RWD model?

I thought it might. When I see a RWD Magnum, it just looks lower, and I know not everyone is lowering their Magnums!

That said, the AWD looks kind of silly, in that the tires and wheels look too small for the car. I'm sure there is a good reason why the ride height is 2" higher? Can it be lowered without damaging the AWD function?

I just test drove an AWD HEMI 2005. The car had 20' custom wheels and the car looked really TALL!

2' would see more correct, but i did not measure it or compare the car to a std RT.

The dealer said the wheels were a Dodge custom wheel. Does any know if Dodge sold custom wheels for their AWDs?

Spec sheet shows 1" difference. I read somewhere that it was to make room for some of the AWD pieces.....It is a hair taller under there than my Passat AWD, which helps when I'm in the woods...
