Cool Burning premium gas in a Hemi

Now that the price of gas has dropped significantly I have been burning premium in my hemi magnum. I thought it was going to be one time thing to run a tankful through it, but now that it's around $3.20 a gallon I have been filling up with it. I don't care about cost if it will help the engine run better and burn cleaner leaving less deposits.

Am I off base on this?

I run synthetic oil, a K&N cai and now 93 octane.

Maybe it's a psychological thing with me to think that the higher octane will make it perform better.

i've never used anything less than 93 octane from day one. but, i also have no choice with the high compression motor i have.
