It's a PITA big time. You have to take the whole headliner down which involves removing most of the interior and tighten all the track to roof bolts.

 

I have noticed that it has to do with temperature for me. If it is really cold, it takes longer to pop (about .1 of a mile down the road)... if it is merely cold, it will pop almost immediately...

I have close to 4K miles on the Magnum, and it SEEMS to be getting quieter... although, maybe I am just getting used to it.

I also have the sunroof... anybody on here NOT have the sunroof and still have the pop? 2005 Magnum R/T Hemi says he doesn't get it... and doesn't have the sunroof. But, again, if my theory is correct, this could be also a temperature thing, might not get cold enough on the left coast...

 

Wow! Who knew that this was such a prevalent problem with the Magnums? Dodgemech, have you heard the complaints about the windshield before? Any suggestions? I'll definitely be taking it in. I hate the noise and when it happens, everyone who is driving with me winces and asks about it. Mine has been getting worse and doing it while driving as well now. Hopefully there's a way to fix it!
BTW, Magnum R/T, temps are around 30-50, and it's definitely worse in the colder weather, but still happens when it's over 50 degrees.

 

Yup, mine does the windshield <POP> too - pretty loud too!

Doesn't always do it, but then I don't drive in a predictable manner, working from home and all...

My sunroof seems noise free though, no complaints in the area...

Sunroof and no pops or squeaks. But I only have 1,700 miles on the car.

 

I have 1 300C with the dash noise, maybe the same noise. More pevelant over bumps or during acceleration. I've had most of the car apart chasing it....don't know yet.

 

I've got the loud POP too.
Upper passenger side. It sounds like the windshield will explode.

This happens right after start up and leaving the house's driveway.

It's a bout 45 degree every morning.
But the car has been in the garage all night.

It will even happen after it's sat all day in the parking lot. Drive about 100 feet, pull out of the lot, POP.

I don't have a sunroof.
