AWD next to a RWD
I took this photo at the Barrett-Jackson of an AWD Magnum (left) next to a RWD Magnum to show the difference in stance. They were both SXT's. I was standing on a slope but you can still see the difference. I attached a couple of other interesting photos from the auction for your viewing pleasure.

Does anyone know the actual height difference between the awd and rwd? Looks like maybe 1.5 to 2 inches.

The 1" increase in height on the AWD makes sense to me, as that 1" will be needed in Icy / Snowy areas where Ice Build Up and Pot Holes are an issue and would warrant the use of an AWD. No severe weather here in Southern California, but despite popular belief, it does rain here. The AWD in Southern California would not be needed. RT RWD is all that is needed for me...

And you need a sunroof and I don't (gotta have a sun first). Maybe they could call it a Cloud Roof for the rest of us.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the extra 1" was to make room for the AWD parts.
