FlatEric, I just realized I didn't answer your question. Sorry.

Mine doesn't really want to break loose at all in a turn, nor spin the tires much - it just flat hauls off!

I've only tried to do a standing burnout a couple of times, once everything worked perfectly and it roasted them for about 10 seconds, totally obscuring the parking lot at TacoMac - the others were just embarrassing, I forgot to undo the ESP and the computer took over...

Not a dragster, but pretty awesome anyway..

that "haul off" is great on the red light (or is it green light) take of. just some engine groan, not to much, no tire scream and a thud of dropped jaws. i love to be on the other side of intersection, while the rest of the crowd gained maybe 15 feet....major ego trip. how not to love this car?

I do have to stay i never tried power braking this car but im sure it will roast the tires without a problem...The other nite going over this 2 lane bridge i stoped at the end making a left turn hit the gas the car started spinning and fishtailing i let up on it because i didnt want to stay into just was amazed that it would do this..ESP off...Oh with ESP on it kinda can do a decent chirp but not all of the time though weird.....

When I first got mine it couldn't do any more than a slight chirp but after the engine breaking in some (have about 5300 mines on it) it can spin the tires quite a bit without powerbraking, I do have a 360 intakez cold air intake so it's got a little more power than stock but I also have an extra 120lbs over the rear wheels from my subs which makes it spin the tires less.

here's a video I took, you can hear how much it does actualy spin the tires.

even with the burnout it took you just over 6 sec to 60mph(+/- tachometer error).
GOOD JOB !!
