Ok guys. We can get a deal on this hood from RK Sport. Hope this doesn't ruffle any feathers, but this was started on another site but I figured everyone should benefit. We currently have enough orders to get a 20% discount and need just a few more to get the max discount of 25%. If there is any interest, please email me at

Awesome looking hood and functional ram air when used with an aftermarket airbox, especially the new Volant CAI which has a seal available that is made to work with this hood and their airbox!!

Rumor has it... a post under another thread mentions that it was limited to an initial run, since fixed. I don't know of anyone that's received a "new" hood that can vouch for that though.

Well...just got off the phone....I am order number 5. The "cutoff for
the orders will be Friday Feb 25th. So, as of now, those that have
placed their orders will get 10% off. We need 11 additional, firm
orders placed to get the 25% discount.
I inquired about the wiper holes, they are there. I was also told there
have been no other complaints concerning the wiper arm rub.

Latest rumor is the hoods have been fixed and will arrive sanded and primed. Maybe they're still shipping from the first unprimed run. In any event, I'm having my hood delivered to my home. I intend to install it before painting so I can, if needed, grind the hood back to clear the wiper, drill out the washer holes, and make sure all the hardware works. Then deliver it to the body shop.

The sanded and primed is news to me but I'll verify it tomorrow. Last I was told is that they are gel coat only, but there will be no other surprises when they are delivered. Big thing right now is that we officially have 11 in the buy, one more calling in tomorrow morning or Monday, and that leaves a measly 4 more for everyone to get the 25 % discount. Let's find some more guys with Mags that want to "enhance" their ride both in the looks AND performance department. This won't be happening again so they better hurry, cut off is only 7 days away!!!!!!!
