Default EVIC display

I have the Electronic Convenience Package>>with steering wheel mounted buttons>..Is the EVIC display on your Magnum hard to see on a bright sunny day? Would the new automic headlight switch make the display brighter?I am going to find someone that has a Magnum and compare it with my display. It may be normal. [&o]

Yes, at times it is hard to see. I also don't see how the auto headlight switch would do any good. When it switches the headlights on at dusk it dims the display which is the opposite of what you want - although you can override that with "parade" mode. Otherwise daytime (lights off) adjusted for full bright and parade mode are brightest and if in that mode if it's still too dim that's it for now.

I have had no problems with the Display, although I drive in the direction of the Sun to and from work, not away from it, as I could see that might shine through the back and make a reflection on the plastic, making it hard to see. I am curious if this is the driving condition you are in when having this problem. Let me know, otherwise, the display seems normal. I like using the screen that displays the MPH, RPM and Temperature at the same time, although, I wish I could still utilize the Radio Controls on the streering wheel at the same time. [&:]
