Default Sunroof Option?

Hello all. Is the Sunroof a factory option or a dealer installed option (IE. after-market).

Thank you,

Peter

It's a factory option and I couldn't live without it...

You can get it both ways, when I was looking at a RAM truck conversion the dodge dealer showed me a sunroof they had installed by a company they deal with. It was quite nice and it slid back into the roof but some details weren't as nice - like the control pad. Still for a car on a lot with everything else you wanted it seemed like a viable option.
On the other hand if you want the best result no doubt about it - have the factory do it.

When I was looking to purchase an RT, I didn't want the sunroof. Instead of ordering a car, my dealer had the exact car I wanted coming in 2 weeks but it had the sunroof and the tow package which I didn't want. He made the deal easy by deducting the full msrp for the sunroof and the tow package along with a great price so I took the car when it came in. But I've had the car now for over 4 months, and except to make sure the roof works, I never even open the sunshade much less the roof. And yes, I know people do love sunroofs, so it can't hurt come sale time.

I wanted the factory sunroof on my RT, but dealer had the car and color I wanted, minus the sunroof - so I bought it.

Go with the factory sunroof, much better quality.
