Default Lowering an AWD RT w/tow package

Just wondering if anyone knew of anyone who has lowered an AWD RT with the tow package. I hate the gaps but don't want to ruin the towing capacity or the auto leveling system. Help me out fellas.

hearing from a dude on another forum that sez you can trick the rear by adjusting a sensor. He said every 1/8 inch you adjust the sensor, it changes how high it is by an inch.
I dunno what sensor he was talkin abhout though. He said pics would be provided later.
I'll pass em on when I see em, man.

I read somewhere (I think Car and Driver) that the extra 1 inch clearance on the AWD was to make room for some AWD components.

Thanks for the reply! I understand the need for the higher stance but would like to get rid of it if possible. Wasn't sure if it was like a truck, where you have to worry about the angles of the drive shafts.
