Drove with parking break on
Has anyone driven with parking break on? I drove my magnum about 4 miles with parking break on this morning. I saw the warning light but didn’t know what it was until I stopped the car and looked it up on the driver manual. I didn’t smell anything but heard a bit of whispering sound from the back when I saw the warning light. The car seems driving fine and the breaks seem working fine after I took off parking break.
Should I bring it in for a service???

He,he... Weak Parking Brake + Loads of Torque = I've done this too!
I have also driven off with the Parking Brake Engaged, maybe a half dozen times, usually when I don't have to back out of a Parking area. I would only get maybe a few Car lengths to a half block before I realize it's a Bit Sluggish and didn't coast normally... But I have never noticed any noise or smell from the Rear Brakes and the Parking Brake works normal. Now normal includes not being able to Park Head first in a Driveway, but it has been like that for a few years...
Take 65 Standard's advice and check them out to be safe, but I wouldn't take it in the shop just for that. If you want the shop to check it out, do it in conjunction with on of those Oil Change and Multi-Point Inspection Coupons you get every quarter from Dodge, be sure Brakes are included in the Inspection list (I think it is the 32 Point Inspection, not the 16 Point Inspection) and be sure to mention it to the Service Advisor / Tech before maintenance and follow up with the same person right after maintenance, like, before you pay...
