just minding my own business here at work and a delivery truck crunched the left front of my car. just turned 100 miles on it this morning. what a pisser.

Oh man... Chip on the windshield didn't feel nice, but nothing as bad as that. Wednesday I saw a Black RT involved in a 3 car incendent in Westminster. I felt for her. Must have been bummed.

Is it just me or do these RT's have a huge Target on all sides of the car that is a Bright Fluorescent Orange, visible to everyone else but the drivers. Ever since I got this thing, I'd swear there was a "$50 prize every time you cut of an RT" city wide game going on that everyone is clued to, but me. [&:]

 

well, a guy i work with says it's bad luck to buy a car at night. i bought my R/T at night and it got it. sure enough, every car that i purchased at night has been involved in at least one incident. spooky.....

 

Worst case that I ever saw in person was back many years ago, guy had just bought a new Pontiac and was pulling out of the dealers lot and got T-boned in the middle. Poor guy had his family in the car, no one was hurt - except the poor car.

OUCH! That had to hurt his pride......................

I had a friend back in the 70s (high school days) that bought a fairly new Super Bee (383, 4-speed if I recall)...completed the deal and shined it up on a Thurs...out cruising on Friday and got into a race with a Ford Torino...about mid way into it my friend decided to take the guy (public road)...just as he made his move around, the Torino driver decides to bail and make a left turn into a driveway!!! We t-boned him...both cars totaled. I think my friend had the car a total of about 26 hours. We walked a lot after that. Just not the same hanging out at the local drive-in on foot!
But one hell of a few nano-seconds!
