ORIGINAL: Fred-dm net I bet if you cash in some season passes for the hockey games you can pay for the gas right there! (stereotype joke alert)

I am far from your stereotypical Canadian. I wouldn't go to see a NHL game even if someone gave me tickets, but I spend a fortune to get to a Nascar race every year!![sm=gears.gif]

I went for a long drive in a SXT today and was very impressed.

Seats felt firm and supportive, quiet on the highway, very smooth over rough roads, all controls were comfortable to reach and operate except I wanted to signal using the cruise control stalk. Lots of room in the backseats for my 2 teenage boys and the rear of the car will have no problem handling anything I need to haul around.

The car only had 30 kilometers on it so I didn't push it too hard but the motor pulled hard through all the gears and the tranny shifted butter smooth.

I'm used to getting looks from people when I drive my slightly modded Grand Prix but man...............I can't believe how many people stopped and pointed as I drove by.

Can't wait for the warm weather when the honeys will be out in full force. [sm=happy046.gif]

The 2.7 is junk. Stay far away from it. Call your local wrecking yard and ask what the demand is for used 2.7 engines, they get over 4K for a USED engine as they fail so often. DCX gets over 6K (reman) for a 2.7, it is the most expensive (well, 8.0 and 5.7HEMI might have it beat) that I have ever seen. We change ALOT of 2.7's. Some poorly maintained, some not. They have terrible oiling systems and zero tolerance for sludge....make sure if you buy it you change oil religiously at 3K intervals.

I just call them like I see them, 2 torn down right now...and a 4.7 if anyone is interested. Opps, pulling a 5.7 down tomorrow, not for oiling problems though.
