Default NEW Magnum aftermarket Grills!

Hello Magnum owners/fans,

The well known makers of custom grill inserts for Pontiac Grand Prix's have developed a new product for the Dodge Magnum and are looking for a few Magnum owners to provide post-installation pictures of the grills and provide feedback on the installation instructions in exchange for a reduced price.

For more pics of the new Magnum grills click here:

e-mail me at willi2mt@gmail.com if you are interested in being one of the first to have these hand crafted grills for your Magnum!

Very nice. Will they have the grills for the slots under the bumper like the E and G Clasic?

Hey Grin,
what kind of grill are you runnin' with. I have a black SXT that I'm trying to "black out". Couple more questions for you. What did you use to remove the adhesive after removing badges and molding? Last, how did you get that brow on the headlights to look so even, vinyl or paint? I appreciate any ideas you may have for me. I'm taking badges off tomorrow, the molding I'm undecided on because I'm affraid of what it will look like underneath. After I do this I will be done with my Magnum for a very long time, or until I pay off the rims and drop kit.

magman3, I have the Trex billet grille and it's powder-coated black to match the car.
I did my eyelids with paint. I masked of to the body line, sanded em with 400 grit, primed well and used black Krylon spray paint to do em. Krylon is not bad paint at all. As long as you prep things well, it's ok stuff. I even used Krylon on my engine cover and componants and my calipers, which I just did today. You can get your paint code in a spray can with flex agent, pearl or whatever at your local Napa or online. Your eyelids will look best the same color as your ride. I got SXT headlights forst because I didn't dig the chrome RT look. Stuck out like a sore thumb.
I used my thumb to remove the two-sided tape after removing the badges and side moldings.
Nothing compairs to good ole elbow grease when it comes to this.
If your magnum is dark colored, you may have some hazing under the side molding where it traps moisture and tears up the paint. I did. It's faded almost all the way away now but I almost had the doors resprayed as a result.
Not sure why they stick that stuff on our cars. It's way too low to be funcional and looks horrible, in my opinion.
I envision some exec dude at Dodge all like" ya know if we release this car all clean, it could be looked at as a muscle car and even become a classic so lets throw on a roof rack and some side moldings to give it a station wagon vibe. Lets make the cup holders too small to be funcional too, boys."

Grin,
I appreciate the advice about the badges. I have the black with the metallic flake, I believe they call it Brilliant Black. I used elbow grease on my Ram to remove the badges and wasn't looking forward to doing on the Mag. What was involved in removing and installing the headlights. I popped the hood and could not figure out what would be involved in doing this. The headlights actually don't bother me because of the chome/stainless that is in my wheels. If it wouldn't be any trouble and at your convience, could you take a couple of shots of your ride in daylight. Get some close ups of the molding you removed on the doors, your taillights, and headlights. Just email me the pics if you don't mind. I'm just about done with my Mag, but there are a few things I'm still flirting with such as the headlights and grill. The wife is getting pretty upset with me so I need to bring it to a halt, and soon.

Brandon
