Default lower gearing for 1/4 mile

Food for thought.
Take the 17 inch wheels off the SE (if they fit) and mount 235-40 R17 wheels to run at the track.
With the stock wheels being 28.6 inches tall and the tire stated above being 24.4 inches tall, this change would be the same as changing from a 2.82 gear to a 3.30 rear gear.

What would that be worth in the 1/4? Assuming the change doesn't screw the transmission controls up.

Also don't have to buy Eibachs, because you get a free two inch lowering job with that tire. As long as you put all four on, I'll bet all you get is erronious speedometer readings. Ought to get us in the 13's and a little over 100 mph in the 1/4 mile with that setup.

Excpet for the fact that the 17" wheels will not clear the RT brakes!

Ive heard the V6s have a lower rear end gear ratio. Nothing to stop you from swapping it
