My 06 RT arrived at the dealer this evening (ordered on 2-13-05, at invoice); so I stopped by to check it out. I recall reading that the 06's will have the center stack bezel in satin silver; mine's black. Any of you few with 06's have a satin silver bezel (my car has Nav)? (The lower steering wheel spokes (i.e. all 4) are satin silver, though).

mine is the same as yours, steering wheel too.

 

supposedly the early production units will have some '05 stuff in them. Sounds like you guys got bit. Were your steering wheels all silver-spoked?

 

yes, all four spokes are silver on the steering wheel. and i like the carbon fiber look of the center bezel just fine. when i orderes my '06, it was sight unseen. no clue as to what it would look like. i was surprised by the black pearl paint. i just thought it was basic black when ordering it.

 

actually, if we are taking about the raised area of the center console, mine is satin silver. but the area around the radio is a carbon fiber look.

the center console trim must be what you mean by center stack bezel. so i guess i wasn't bit after all.

 

That sucks. I've been waiting for this part to come available so I can order one for my '05.

 

they're starting to show up now on the '06s.

I agree. The more I see about the 06's, the happier I am with my 05 SXT. I don't like the cheesy silver center stack or the prop rod for the hood. So far, the only thing I am missing is the fog lights, which I can add for a lot less than the cost difference between the 05 and 06.

 

I agree. I think the Black center stack looks much better.
