Default Stock Nav sysem install in a Magnum SXT

I just bought a stock magnum nav system, I was wondering what parts I needed to get the GPS working properly? Thanks.

Just the GPS antenna and plug it in.

You will want to hook it all up and go the system setting screen, in that meny there is an option to see signal strength. Once there you can move the antenna around to find the best location, I look for at least 6 circles.

Where did you buy it from? If you don't mind me asking...How much did you pay for it? I am looking to do the exact same thing in my R/T. I've seen them on ebay for $400-600. How hard is this swap to do? I think you need a new instrument panel to fit around the bigger NAV radio. Will SIRIUS let me switch my account to the new ESN# from the new radio? I am really interested in this sorry for all the crazy questions. Thanks!

I checked into this swap myself. You need a bezel with larger opening for the Nav radio. The antenna plugs into a hole in the center of the dash at the bottom of the windshield. Cars without it have a round plastic plug there. I actually ended up getting a nice aftermarket GPS that is able to get all the data you could possibly need off your computer. Since I have 3 cars I can use it in, this was the most practical way for me to go. Only have to learn how to use one. One I got with 4" color screen was only $600. Less than an inch thick.
