Bas?
So on my way to work this evening, a BAS light came on when I started the car. When I got to work I checked my codes, I got my usual 0420 & 0430 (I have gotten those for a year now just too lazy to look into the O2 sensor) and nothing else. Maybe someone can shed some light on what this BAS light is for. Oh and it is an 05, 5.7 with 53K. Thanks!

BAS - Brake Assist System
You may want to check your brake fluid level. There is a level sensor. May be that it is time to install new pads if the level is down enough. Do a check of your brake system.
