One thing I noticed in regards to the rear wiper is that during a heavy snowstorm the snow had begun to pile up on the rear window and snapped the wiper clean off. That is a large problem with the design of the rear wiper; you can't lift the wiper out of the way and lock it open, much like a front wiper
