I have seen a few remove the rear wiper, but a simple plug shows that the wiper is off center with the rear hatch (need to shave to make it look correct).

The molding should be glued on most Mags, although emblems may be bolt on (some are and some are not).

Black Mag,
I have seen a Magnum in Huntington Beach, Ca. that had the Rear Winshield Whiper Shaved off. Although it did look sweet, I think it was a mistake. Ever notice how dirty the Rear of the Magnums get? With all that dust, why remove the window duster? Let alone rain, snow, sleet, mud, etc..

If I see the guy with his shaved, I'll see if I can get some information for you.

Door Moldings serve a purpose. Yet it is very cool to shave them. The car looks way better. But there is a rule that comes with removing the Side Molding: No Complaining when you get a dent or scratch where the Molding was. [:@]

Jimmy, The original Magnum concept car did not have the rear wiper and it looks very good, partially because of that. This is not about practical. The wiper does almost nothing. Besides, how often do you really use it? Compare that to how many times you gas up and get the car washed combined. Point being, if you clean your windows while you gas, you won't miss the ugly appendage. Congrats on all that care enough about the looks of their Magnums that they Git 'R Done!

WHAT!?!?
Wash your Magnum at the Gas Station! [&:] Man, now that's disrespect... Saying that a Magnum is too good for a Rear Window Wiper and then washing it at a Gas Station? This does not make sense. I wouldn't wash a used Pinto at a Gas Station. Of course, I wouldn't use a Pinto in the first place, so that analogy doesn't work. But you get the point.

OK, shave your Rear Window Wiper (because I gas my car more than I use the Rear Wiper), even though it isn't ugly. No doubt it does LOOK better. But do your Magnum a favor and wait until you get home to wash the Rear Window, so you can wash the rest of the Rear End while you are at it. (I wash my car more than I gas it)

Note: Removing the Rear Window Wiper will also Remove 4.20 HP from the Rear Wheels [sm=burnout.gif]

Can anyone address the process for removing the rear wiper. Not that I want to get rid of it, but on mine, the little 'U' shaped end (Bottom of the wiper arm) broke off and I need to get a new wiper assembly.

No holes in the doors or fenders. Use a hair dryer to heat up the glue behind the moldings and they'll come off easier with less chance of paint damage. You can use a thin fishing line like a saw to get behind the moldings or you can use one of those soft plastic spatula's like for spreading bondo to get behind the molding to cut the glue too.

On a side note, all the emblems on the tailgate and fenders are just glued on too. I've removed all the tail gate emblems and it looks cleaner.
