I got the 2 1/16 black, 8 Ball shifter with an 8mm sleeve from Flameball.com.
It looks /works great!

Man, that shift rod looks like a toothpick. I like the 8-Ball though...adds some personality to the interior, huh?

 

The ball looks good AJ. I had a Flameball that lit up on my C-5 Vette and it looked awesome. But this skinny little shaft I HATE! Plus it would be a bit of a pain to run the LED wire.
Hey 356Magnum how and where did you run the wire for your skull shifter.

How do I insert or attach a pic to my post?

 

My wife and I were just admiring all the shift kobs on Flameball.com and we both have picked out the perfect ones for our rides. (mine has a skull right now and hers is still stock)
But We're wondering how the wire for LED will look running down the post of the shifter. It's not hollow, I wouldn't wanna wrap it with tape or even heat shrink it as there would still be a buldge lookin all warped, I think.
Have any of you purchased an illuminating **** that requires hard-wiring?
If so, please educate us.
Don't want battery-powered illumination.
