No problem with clearance or rubbing with the 255/45's and the Pro Kit?? I'm just about to lower mine and I was a little concerned about the tires being too tall with the Eibach kit.

No problem at all with clearance. I just went out to double check that they are indeed 255/45 instead of 245/45. I could have went an extra 1/2" no problem. The pro kit rides great and brought my Mag down about 1 3/4". I have no regrets. Johnnyb, don't get me wrong, I set out for a 40 series tire but they suggested the 45 instead. It really shouldn't make a huge difference. By the way, I looked at a rim with the same pattern but wanted black. I think that wheel will look sick.

I think your Magnum looks excellent. Reminded me of a hurst though since the tinted windows blend into the black paint....and the black rims. The rims look good also, but I'd probably go with dull aluminum rims.

the rims are made by MHT alloys the make niche, neeper, driv, dub and foose. I wanted these but they are on back order and they cost 500 for one. [:@]

Man that's the wheel. I absolutely love that Foose wheel. You should get what you really like, even if you have to wait. I wanted my Axis Ordems and luckily I didn't have to wait.

ORIGINAL: TxRide

these are my rims, man!!
i have them with 275/40/20 all around
let us know whether you too, had problems with balancing. mine still "shimmy" @ 65 to 75 mph. and i spent $130 on balancing!
good luck
greg
mine had a shimmy problem also, but found a simple and somewhat obvious solutin, there are two sheet metal nuts on each wheel to hold the disc tight on the hub when the wheel is removed, however my wheels didn't have a space for this to clear (no counterbore). i pryed the little suckers off and now i can go 100mph (eventually) as smooth as glass

undropped, i must try it. i'm afraid though that won't be a solution - wheels had pretty poor balance on the machine (including road-load balancing) the guy was blaming a tires (toyo) 'cause "rims looked good", but it was the same story with whole new set of tires...
i don't know anymore.
as a matter of fact i have some time now, so by the lunch i should know..
talk to you soon

Man that sucks. Nothing in the world sucks more than paying that kind of money for a **** poor ride. I would look into returning the wheels back to manufacturer for check. If you bought your wheels from a reputable dealer they should be able to care of this for you. You may have a wheel out of round or a slight dent that is not visible to the eye. I'm not good with tire sizes so is a 275/40/20 a lower profile tire than a 245/45/20? That's what I'm running on mine so I'm just trying to get a vision of what your's looks like. There's two things you may want to check. Undropped said one, the spacer ring. It must be installed, not missing from your ride. If you don't have that spacer ring, then that's your problem. The other thing you may want to check is the pin that holds your rotor on with the stock wheel. If the tire shop did not remove that pin, that could also be causing some interference. I'm no expert but I know these were things my dealer was telling me needed to happen to install an aftermarket wheel on the Mag.
