When you guys put your car into drive do you feel a double shift feeling. If I shift into drive then tap the gas right away it slams into gear. I have to wait 3 sec before taking off.

Free Style,
I have never felt a 'Slams into Gear' before, but I always wait for the Transmission to set in Gear before applying Gas. I suppose if I stepped on it before I allow the Electronic Transmission to shift into the proper Gear it may 'Slam into Gear', but why would I want to damage my car. Just wait a moment. How about the longer delay between going from Reverse to Drive, instead of from Park to Drive? Now that sometimes is irritating. That is the only time I have experienced a Double Shift feeling, but I am also changing directions.

This happens to me sometimes. I have an SXT and every once and while when backing up and then putting into drive I receive that hard shift.

Be patient, things are electronic now-a-days. The solenoids will not not let it engage too fast, it takes a few seconds.

this is an annoying phenom...

the tranny in the Mag is lackluster IMO... very slow to react, and the Autostick...? don't get me started...
