No Magnum came from the factory with a rear or front spoilers. There
were some Magnums that came with dealer installed odd looking fiberglass
fender flares and three piece rear spoilers from a company called RC. Most
too all of them were called "Magnum Force" cars that dealers made from
Plain Magnum XE's to increase there sales!
Magnum GT's (Code A75 on the data plate)You must have this on the
data plate in order it to be a GT option car!
The GT option has nothing to do with engine or performance, it is mainly a
heavy duty suspension package and comes with Firm-feel power steering,
GT 15x7 Rallye wheels & GR60x15 tires, Fender flares, Swirled look rallye
dash(Tach not included, it's an option), Leather wrap steering wheel and
GT emblems on the front fenders that replace the XE's.
Never heard of a 1978-79 Magnum XS? The only place the XS is the Vin#,
All Magnum XE or GT's starts with XS22! The Cordoba's start with SS22.
This Magnum is called
the CC Magnum, it's a one off! It was built by Mancini Racing for Car Craft
magazine as a giveaway. No Magnum came from the factory like this as
there was only one! It started life out as a 1978 Black/Tan Magnum GT
