Question about odd rear-end shudder
I have a 2005 Magnum R/T with 55,000 miles on it, and I'm getting a very strange but sometimes violent shudder in the rear end of the car under certain driving conditions. The shudder occurs most notably immediately after I back off the throttle, but while the car is still accelerating. I can make the vibration happen almost at will, but seems to occur the most frequently while traveling uphill. When the shudder begins, pressing the accelerator or the brakes immediately stops it. Other than that, the car runs smooth with no vibrations while cruising at normal highway speeds.
Could it simply be that the rear tires are out of balance? I replaced all the tires about 6 months ago, and need to have them rotated--I only noticed the vibration fairly recently. Or, could it be something more serious (and costly)? Anyone else experience this?

I have experianced shudder but at alot higher speeds above 140 kmh. Obviously I don't drive that fast all the time but I have felt it when passing people. I have no clue as to what it is.
At lower speeds very very rarely will I feel a slight shudder. I would also like to know what it might be.
