Default chrysler finance???

does any one know how long i have to keep my chrysler finance account before i can pay it off?
i think it's three months. i really don't want a car payment, so i want to pay it off as soon as i can
and still keep my $1000 rebate for using them.

I think you can pay it off any time you want, as soon as I got my payment book, I refinanced with my credit union to get a cheaper rate and also got a $500 rebate from the credit union.

So I saved $1,500..........$1,000 from Chrysler Finance and $500 from my credit union.

Sweet,

Bob

The dealer will tell you 3 months...but you can pay it off the first month, with no repercussions.

Wish someone would have asked this earlier. I have already made two payments and was waiting for the 3rd to just buy the damn thing. I hope there are no nasty surprises down the road for you early birds, it was made pretty clear in my contract that I had to make 3 payments with Chrysler Financial.

I was told I had to make 4 payments or I'd have to pay back the $1000 rebate.

Pay that sucker off. There is no penalty. It does cost the dealer some money as they get a cut of the finance charge.

after carefully reading the terms and conditions of the contract, i feel these words say it all.

"You may prepay your debt without penalty."
