Default Grilles

I have seen about 5 or 6 different grilles for the Magnum. There are the stock ones, of course, in chrome and blacked out. I have found the honeycomb style or chicken wire style several times. There is a vertical billet style that is growing on me. Lastly, I found two different horizontal billet styles, one that replicates the stock look and another that covers the horizontal bar of the grille. There was another one that looks like flat diecut metal. Wondering what your thoughts might be on installation and looks? Post some close ups if you got em! thanks

I own an SXT with the factory blacked out grille. I've been trying to get a factory RT grille for some time now (deals keep going nowhere). I've seen pretty much all the different aftermarket grilles so far, and I still prefer the look of the factory RT grille. Call me strange!!

Cheers,
Lyle

I had thought about that kit for my Mag, but after seeing your how to I have to say I'll stick with my RT grill. Looks great, but I don't like the idea of having to take off the whole front facia.

i ave removed my front bumper several times with out near as much work as shown by ltldad's how too, i pulled the top 6 clips as shown, then the 3 fasteners along the outer edge of the wheel well (i destroyed them removing them and replaced them with simple push fastners) then pulled the plastic back to get to the 10mm bolt at the top corner, and finally removed the 8 or so bolts along the underside. i know it sounds like a lot of work but took me about 2-3 mins top.

Here's Mine.

It's the E&G Mesh Grille and comes with pretty straight forward installation instructions.

You don't have to remove the entire front fascia just do as someone desribed above;
Remove a few push pins (I saved mine) and pull the top out enough to work on things.
Putting in the bottom mesh was a hassle because you have to remove the shield under the front end.
All in all it took me about 3-4 hours and a couple of cut fingers with the car up on front tire ramps.
I don't know anything about body work, just took my time and read everything again & again until I understood it.

You also have to remove the lower shield when you change the oil. No big deal...unless one of the frame clips is broken.
