Congratulations! Sounds like the magnum gets to be the best of both worlds, a "Bad *** baby haulin car!". You really couldn't ask for a safer ride for the little one!

Congrats! My wife usually totes around our 1-year-old in our Explorer but occasionally will take my Magnum. I think our daughter likes looking out the gun-slit windows!

Kind of reminds me of my old days, I bought a new 63' Plymouth Savoy 2 dr. sedan with the bad 426" Max Wedge motor. My wife and baby boy only rode in it one time, the streets were cold and frozen when I floored the gas, car spun out and did a 360 turn. Wife was NOT impressed!

That car was a beast to try and drive on Chicago streets in the winter, finally gave up and bought a used car to go to work. That car got 5 MPG in the city and 3 MPG on the highway, the dual quads and the 4:56 rear gears and automatic did not help. You could actually see the gas gauge move when driving on the highway.

Wish I had that bad boy back today.........................

Bob, older and wiser now.

Johnny B 1911,
Congradulations! Your life will never be the same in another 8 Months... Kids are GREAT! However, I have a downer of an opinion about the Magnum... The Caravan is hands down the best Kids ride. Easy to get the sleeping ones in and out while keeping them sleeping. This is very important in the early childhood years... About 7 or 8 is a good age to transfer to a normal Car, Truck, SUV, or whatever you drive. I had (1) Grand Caravan and (2) Caravan's with my (3) kids. The youngest one turned 7 last year, just before I got the Magnum. Just my opinion... The Caravan is way better than the Grand Caravan, as the Grand has added room in the back that only hurts the Turning Radius and adds to the cost of the Vehicle. But I never did 127 MPH in the Caravan....

Congrats johnnyb...that's way too cool. The Mag will be a sweet ride to be totin' the little one around in. I have a five year old daughter who absolutely loves driving in mine. She feels like she's in a race car. I'd have to agree with The Fuse if you had 3 or more kids, but one or two- the Magnum is perfect. Lots of room, easy access, plenty of storage in the back, and nice little side pockets everywhere to put bottles, toys, diapers, wipes, burp rags, and the back makes a nice changing station- even if it's raining out, the lid will protect!
Congratulations again, and remember that during the pregnancy and birth anything you do, more than any other time, will forever come back to haunt you in the future- make the haunting be a good haunting
