I'd say 10 hp without the hood. Maybe a little more. It's the sound difference that rocks. Makes it deeper and meaner.
The hp increase with the hood depends on how fast yer goin'. At a dead stop... nada. At 100mph or more, it's dang near like havin' a blower.
I notice it on the highway at 75ish. Even before adding headers, I could punch it along side another R/T with a cold intake and magnaflows and happily wave bye bye.

Just purchased the K&N 63 series, waiting on UPS. Noticeable increase in performance with yours?

Or sounds the best. Or the one that is CARB'd if you live in a state where that matters. The Mopar seems to fit that bill for me, but I have a Typhoon already, it sounds great, looks nice and its CARB'd, which the Mopar is not.

does anyone know which air intake system fits best with the rk hood?
can any of the system be modified to receive only air through the hood?
