Default Adding a transmission cooler

All,

After putting on the load leveling shocks, the next step is to add the tranny cooler that comes with the tow package. I called the dealer and they said $385.00. Is this right?? Is there something above and beyond a Hayden heavy duty transmission cooler that I can get for less than half the price??

******UPDATE*******

After reading posts elsewhere - is there a different tranny cooler that comes with the tow package? Radiator?? Cooling Fans?? What is different than a stock RT other than the shocks?

*************************

Thanks!

J

Go with an aftermarket racing cooler. I have used B&M on a couple of my cars. Jegs or Summit have them for $50 to $60

B&M or Permacool. Go with the highest GVW number you can find. Do a complete bypass. 'Bout $100. or less... JEGS or Summit.
