Is 2006 4-speed any better than 2005?
My plan was to order a 2006 RWD SXT with a high MPG, high reliability 5-speed automatic over the 4th of July, but the Germans running DC that want to pollute the American Skys said NEIN to the 5-speed in the SXT.
Anyone know if the 2006 variable pressure 4-speed offered on the SXT is more reliable than the 2005 4-speed auto, which has a very large number of lemon law returns filed on it?
The Police model Magnum has the 5sp, but does not appear to be a good domestic choice because of the special equipment. I may end up purchasing a used Mercedes E320 wagon.
