I have a superchip, K&N coldair, flowmaster super 10s with NO catalytic converters. Spiraticaly my car dies at idle constantly, while at cruising speed when I try to punch it the car falls on it's face shooting the RPMs to zero until I let off the gas sometimes backfiring during this.I've noticed tht 3500rpms is the common number tht it won't go over when it does this. I can cruise at 65 without it doing this but as soon as I punch it the car bucks, RPMs shoot to zero and the car wont run until I let off the gas.. Is this caused from not having the catalytic converters?? Please help, ive been to the dealership and they had me change out the intake and tht wasn't even the problem. Also changed out the fuel pump and fuel filter to no avail
