Our local Dodge dealer had a pretty bada$$ RAM 1500 HEMI on sale for $22K with the Dodge employee discount.
Sort of makes me wish I had purchased a truck instead of my Magnum....Well, not really, was just nice seeing them on the lot at the dealer.

 

I got $750 off on my '05 RT and $1 over invoice in Cincinnati, OH the day employee pricing started. They felt bad that the Magnum wasn't included and since they had 2 black and 2 silver just sitting on the lot, they let me deal.

 

I was talking with the sales manager about the program. Most of the vehicles were cheaper with the incentives and rebates. Some dealers are knocking $$ off the employee deal!

 

Ordered 05' R/T Sat., coming into Mpls from Milwaukee Thursday. Got a call from salesman Tuesday, Dodge announced new "EP"program to include 05' Magnums and received another $1800 off price quoted. Picking up Friday!

 

Dealer trade? I don't think you can order 2005's, the 06's are already shipping.

I stand corrected, yes at was a dealer trade. Drove by dealer this AM and there it sits! hope to pick up Friday.

 

Good luck with it, you'll love it. Read the owners manual on break-in and follow it closely. If you use their recomended procedure, it will scream later on. Don't mis interpret the "brief wide open throttle accleration" quote. What they mean is full throttle bursts at LOW RPM. Congrats and good luck.
