Ok, here's another one..........
How many folks reside in S.E. Florida??

The reason I ask is that I belong to a car club that although started as a PT club is open to all makes and we have several Vettes, a couple of El Caminos but NO OTHER MAGNUMS

We get together Fridays at the Tower Shops in Davie, FL (a pretty big get together, many clubs & hot rods) and was thinking of having a "Magnum Night" once it gets a bit cooler and inviting all the local guys with Magnums to park & hang out with our club.

If there's interest we'll probably do it in August.

AJ. I saw your car at towers last friday. I parked behind you with the Lotus. There was never anyone around the car while I was there. I'll probably head up there this Fri.

Hey there, I live in Homestead. I have a silver RT...all stock to this point, but ready to start modding it out. Love it though!

Hello all,

I have a strange request for those of you living in SouthEast Florida. I am looking over the internet to find the right Magnum at the right price and have come across a nice one in Pompano Beach.

I am considering hiring a third party appraisal service to check out the Magnum since I am stuck in Iraq until next month, but I thought maybe I would see if any of you who currently own a Magnum might want to help me out. What I would be looking for is someone to go see the car, ensure it is like the dealer says and of course drive it for me then let me know. If this is something that might interest you I would be more than willing to make sure your gas and time are compensated.

If you might like to help, please contact me through PM or e-mail spyder@ engineer.com. Thanks.

If you're using the internet look up University Dodge in Davie FL.
A guy named Rafi handles the internet and is a standup guy.
I got mine from him for slightly over invoice when they were hard to get and the service is exellent.
I was just there getting service on my wifes car and they must have at least 10 sitting on the lot.

I used a site called fighting chance. It's run by a guy who use to be a car salesman. You pay like $30.00 and he sends you info on the car you are looking to buy, like little known "Hold Back" cash amounts that the manufacturer send to the dealer just for selling the car, cost price, any discounts etc. He also gives you a form letter to fill out, then you fax it to at least 10 dealerships' fleet or sales managers, stating what you want, how much it costs, what their "Hold Back" is etc. The whole concept is to have these dealerships bidding against each other to make the sale, giving you the lowest price. I bought my RT last year using this method and I payed $125.00 over cost, and this was when the RT's first came out and dealers were selling them a few thousand dollars over sticker! I believe the site is www.fightingchance.com If thats not it, then do a search. Hope this helps.
