05 magnum with p3400 code, & metal in engine

05 magnum with p3400 code, & metal in engine
hey guys, i'm new but have a big problem, looking for answers or help.
did oil change and had a peice of metal come out of oil pan. and having code p3400 pop up, found out mds, bank one is a problem so tear apart to find a bunch of very fine metal around tip of mds solenoid. peice of metal is about 1" long, 1/4" wide and made of spring steel, with a slight bend (curve) in it. as of now it looks like i'm taking front of engine off.
buy the way there is 142,000 miles on motor... please anybody help.
