Default Sirius question

I did not receieve any information regarding Sirius subscription from my Dodge dealer and was wondering what I need to do to get the service?

I've never had satellite radio, and never cared to, but my R/T is equipped with it, so I might as well do it.

I appreciate any help.

Look in your paperwork you need the serial number off the unit to register.
If it's not there head on back to the dealer.
Also when you register make sure you tell them it's for a new car purchase so you get the free year subscription.

You can also use the VIN to activiate and Sirius will cross reference the VIN with your radio. Sirius will know by the VIN that it is a new car and will activate you with your 12 month complimentary subscription.

I just installed Sirius in my vehicle and you can also access the Satellite serial number from the radio (as long as all in pluged into each other). Just need to call 800 number w/ paperwork and tell them everything and they should 'activate' it while you are on the phone (suggest you be in the car, when calling).

Thanks everyone. Called Sirius with my VIN# and 5 minutes later it was all taken care of. I'm kinda diggin' it, don't know if I "can't live without it" but so far it's pretty cool.

Thanks again!

My wife said the same thing about Sirius when she first got the car, and now she can't live without satellite radio.

I had to drive my wifes car yesterday and found myself lost without my Sirius. I was an XM Subscriber prior to the Magnum and got hooked on satelite radio then. I now find myself listening to about 10 minutes of local news on AM, then it's off to Raw Dog or Classic Vinyl.
