Just wondered if anyone here is going to the 4 day nationals here at the dragway in Columbus 11-14 August ? I went last year and saw only one other Magnum, and at the recent Chrysler Classics didnt see any besides mine. Theres a huge custom show, drag racing, swap meet, sale corral, and 1700 vendors, and all the DC concept cars along with new models. Im sure everyones heard of the Brice Rd cruise. I live on Brice Rd. Friday and Saturday nites everyone hangs out at the local Hooters. Feel free to email or pm me.

 

hello....i have been to every nats since 1993 (in indy) except for the year before last year, and while i went last year, i didnt take any cars. I also have run the chrysler classics event series for the last 5 years, but i am taking this year off. Dodgegirl19 and I will be in attendance at the nats this year, planning to get into columbus friday night, and going to the track at least saturday, if not saturday and sunday...did your car look like that last year at the Nats? We are, and always do, stay at the hotel across brice from the japanese steak house...i think that its a best western...the one with a small restarant in it, and a bar.

 

It may have had the stripes then. I cant remember exactly when I done those. I was parked on the race side, close to the hiway. If you guys want to hook up at Hooters on Friday nite, let me know. I live down there since its only a block from my place. I know all the girls there. If Im there, my Magnum is always parked by the front door.

I've been there for the NHRA drags but never for this - sounds interesting!

We'll be in Indianapolis for the Mac Tools US Nationals this year... wooohooo, can't wait!

hmm...i saw your car on brice friday night, then on saturday, we walked past you sitting next to the gate....we took several pictures of your car, but i didnt think that you had sidepipes...were you sitting in a lawnchair behind your car??

Mine and Red Wagons were parked together in the grass by where the Test Rides were going on. We were all over but came back for rest breaks sitting under a blue tent. I was over on the Show Car field on Saturday afternoon. We didnt talk to anyone on the forum that I know of. Not many Magnums, but did see one of them with the 300C nose and an SRT8.

 

hmm..528hemi (a blown hemicuda) was a few cars down from you, and when we came in the gate saturday, we did indeed stand next to you and take pictures of your car, if you were the gentleman sitting rigth behind your car.
